As part of the partnership agreement, SmartIS and OXplus are investing in knowledge sharing and enablement over a two-year period. Both Companies will work together to establish a Centre of Excellence for Rail & Transportation for both IT and EAM.

“This partnership marks a significant change in our approach to sell Rail & Transportation Services and Software.” says Richard van Dongen, Managing Director and Co-founder of OXplus. “As we continue to experience growth in our Services, despite the difficult economic environment, and traction within the Rail & Transportation industry, we need to be able to ramp up our Services capability faster than we have been able to do until now. I am excited about working together with SmartIS and the benefits that this alliance will bring to both OXplus and our customers.”

SmartIS is engaged on a number of big Maximo IT Service Management implementations and will also work with OXplus’s Complementary Services to provide Solutions / Services on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). OXplus has engaged theirselves to some big Projects in Rail & Transportation and Infrastructure as well and is currently still fulfilling Lead roles at their customers.

“We are pleased to team up with OXplus, and are confident that this strategic partnership will reap considerable rewards. We are making significant investments in our relationship with OXplus and believe this partnership will add to the breadth and depth of our capabilities in Rail & Transportation Services for IT technology and operations, and our proven, domain led delivery experience, further offering cost-effective solutions and a compelling proposition to our joint customers,” says Marko Praprotnik, IT Service Manager, SmartIS.
